Are you intimidated by using separate/free-standing strobes in your photography? Sign up for a 1-hour, one-on-one class with Jason at the Studio and learn the basics of setting up studio for a photo shoot using strobes!
Together we will go over from scratch and hands-on:
• Basic photo studio set-up
• Attaching the strobes to softboxes
• Attaching the softboxes to stands
• Connecting the power supply
• Attaching the receivers
• All adjustments on the strobes
• Setting up your camera to work with a trigger
• Using strobes without a trigger (slave mode)
• Setting up a backdrop
• Use of an eyelighter reflector
• 1 light and 2 light usage
• Using a boom
• Basic safety concerns
We’ll shoot as much as you need in that hour until you are comfortable with their use. Bring a friend as a model or you can photograph Jason.
$75 to instruct one person for one hour. Volume discounts available if more than one person is being instructed.
This is a BASIC class and does not address advanced techniques.
